Retro Rewind: Tom as the Voice of God

As a young supporting actor, Tom’s biography is very short, but begins with this sentence: “Tom Sturridge is currently studying for his ‘A’ levels…”
And ends with this one: “As well as numerous school stage productions, he was the voice of God in Kafka’s The Trial at the Young Vic.”

Tom Sturridge- Roger Gosselyn
Tom Sturridge is currently studying for his ‘A’ levels, however the summer of 2003 was a busy one for him as he not only filmed Being Julia, but also appeared as Georgy in Mira Nair’s Vanity Fair opposite Reese Witherspoon and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. He has previously starred in Fairy Tale: A True Story, and played Tom Gulliver in Gulliver’s Travels opposite Ted Danson and Peter O’Toole. As well as numerous school stage productions, he was the voice of God in Kafka’s The Trial at the Young Vic.
