First debuted at CCXP, this deleted scene from The Sandman episode 6 “The Sound of Her Wings” gives us a little more insight into why Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) is the way she is, as she explains her journey pretending to be a human to her brother Dream (Tom Sturridge). The Sandman is now streaming on Netflix, with more stories currently in the works to tell the tales of the Endless.

Netflix has greenlit a second season of Neil Gaiman‘s The Sandman.
The Sandman, which launched at the start of August, was watched for 69.5M hours in its first week, doubling this in its second to 127.5M, scoring 77.2M in its third week and getting 53.8M in its fourth.
The renewal confirmation follows an accidental leak on Wednesday by DC Comics’ official Twitter page. The since deleted tweet read, “The dream continues. The Sandman will return with new episodes based on multiple volumes of the Neil Gaiman graphic novel to explore even more stories of the Endless.”
The New York Comic Con lineup continues to add guests, and the latest announcement features two guests from Netflix’s The Sandman — Dream himself Tom Sturridge and the nightmarish Corinthian Boyd Holbrook.
Sturridge will appear Thursday and Friday at the convention with photo ops available for $80 and autographs available for $70. Holbrook will appear Saturday and Sunday with photo ops available for $70 and autographs available for $50.
New York Comic Con takes place from October 6-9 at the Javits Center.

The Sandman star Tom Sturridge is the most recent addition to Dallas Fan Festival’s celebrity lineup!
Appearing on Saturday and Sunday, fans can interact with the multi-talented actor both in a Q&A panel (time to be announced) or during photo ops and autographs. Autographs are available for purchase now for $70 and photo ops for $80.
Sturridge joins stars including Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, Emily Swallow, Gates McFadden, John De Lancie, Matt Smith, and more at the festival. Dallas Fan Festival will take place October 14-16, 2022, at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. Tickets for the show are available now on the Dallas Fan Festival website, and more guest announcements are expected in the near future.
